Product overview of MVR evaporator

MVR is the abbreviation of English “Mechanical Vapor Recompression”. Another name: mechanical steam recompression evaporator, which uses the secondary steam generated in the evaporator, compressed by the compressor to increase the pressure, temperature and enthalpy, and then sent to the heating chamber of the evaporator as the heating steam for cycle use. MVR is a technology that reuses the heat of its own secondary steam to reduce the need for external energy.

After the volume of the thin secondary steam is compressed, the temperature of the thin secondary steam is increased, so that the low-temperature and low-pressure steam is changed into high-temperature and high-pressure steam, thus can be used as a heat source to reheat the original liquid to be evaporated, thereby achieving the purpose of recycling the steam; since the compression of the volume here is achieved by a compressor, it is called MVR. 

Working principle of MVR evaporator:

The MVR evaporator uses the secondary steam generated in the evaporator, which is compressed by the compressor to increase the pressure, temperature and enthalpy, and then sent to the heating chamber of the evaporator as heating steam to keep the feed liquid boiling, while the heating steam itself is condensed into water. In this way, the steamthat is going to be discarded in the first place is fully utilized, the latent heat is recovered, the thermal efficiency is improved, the economical efficiency of the virgin steam is equivalent to the third effect of the multi-effect evaporation, the demand for external heating and cooling resources is reduced, and the energy consumption is reduced.

The compressor compresses the secondary steam generated by the evaporation of materials, improves the pressure and temperature of the secondary revaporizer, and converts the electric energy into heat energy. The heated secondary steam returns to the evaporation system to heat the materials, so as to achieve the purpose of reusing the enthalpy of the secondary steam. The energy-saving effect is good, and the heating process mainly consumes electric power.

MVR Evaporator Features:

● MVR evaporator technology only needs a small amount of virgin steam (a small amount of virgin steam is needed during starting up, and only a very small amount of virgin steam is needed for normal operation to supplement heat loss and enthalpy of feeding and discharged materials), which reduces the operatiing cost of enterprises and environmental pollution.

● Because the compressor is used to provide the heat source, compared with the traditional evaporator, the temperature difference is much smaller, thus achieving mild evaporation, improving product quality and reducing scaling.

● Condenser is not needed or only a condenser with small occupied area is needed, the structure and process are very simple, fully automatic operation, continuous operation, safe and reliable.

● The equipment occupies a small space, and there are few sets of utilities.
