Plate heat exchanger is the most compact graphite equipment. It covers a very small area, and heat conduction area can be increased or decreased by adding or removing heat transfer plates without the need to modify the frame.

For dirty media, there is a larger gap.

This equipment is also very suitable for highly viscous media.

Generally, the heat transfer coefficient is 2 – 3 times higher than that of tube-and-shell type equipment.
